Default rust removal

I've noticed a strip of rust on the inside of the barrel of my CVA Optima. It's located on the first inch or two of the muzzle. Any tips/tricksfor getting rid of it? Thanks in advance.

Brake fluid works with a 50cal wire brush. Works on even frozen bolts like the Kinght Disc.

Most quality gun solvents and a brass bore brush will take that out unless it is very serious rusting. Then get some J-B Bore Paste and remove it with that.

If you use brake fluid make sure to oil well and let stand muzzle down on a rag for a night. Brake Fluid will dryup the steelvery quickly. I use it to clean my breechand ventlineron my Savage 10II it works very well but I tumble in a oil rag immediately following the use of it.
