Default De-Resonator

Does it work? or is it even worth consideration?

LimbSaver® by SVL Barrel De-Resonator[/align]

Designed to dampen out unwanted vibration by shortening the overall settling of the barrel. Accuracy benefit is immediate, providing sub-minute angle groups with over-the-counter factory ammunition. Easy to install. Manufactured with LimbSaver's proprietary NAVCOM® (Noise and Vibration Control Material) for maximum performance and accuracy. Color: Black. Made in USA.

Never tried one thinking about it - though... Wonder if it will even fit a ML barrel?

I take it those rest in the bottom of the stock and then the barrel rests on the top of that... so the vibrations when shooting are muffled? Or am I wrong?

No, they slide over the barrel down to the nose of the stock. I have seen target shooters using them to suppress vibrations in the barrel. I am thinking more of a floating barrel than a bedded barrel...

Whatdaya think?

Never mind I forgot about the ram rod.... DA!!!

They work like the big balls that the powerline guys put on the wires. It stops the vibration by adding a weight to the peak point of the vibration of the barrel. I doubt that it would have any effect ona muzzleloader. Our barrels are too stiff and the pressure peak is so much different from smokeless that there is likely not much vibration acting in the barrel. Limbsaver recoil pads sure work though. I have on on every rifle I own that kicks. I'm recoil sensitive anyway since I broke up too many things racing motorcycles.
