Did a Web search for CVA Optima Pro 209 at WalMarts, but did not see one. They have the Traditions "Tracker"Blk/Syn Nickel for $120.00.

Last year, I ended up picking up an Omega Z5 just before Christmas for 168.00+Tax. I couldn't pass it up. One of our local Walmarts has a huge overstock of deer stands. They have reduced them, but I am waiting on them to go on clearance. They have so many that I am pretty sure I will be able to get a couple for 50-60% off!!!

Rather have blued or stainless instead. The nickel on my sidelock has a large burn mark around the nipple-area from blow-back.With blued, that mark would blend-in and not be noticeable. With stainless,it would be more resilliant to heat & probably wipe right off with a damp cleaning cloth.

Not a problem with an Optima - it is a closed breech - break open...They are not stainless - they are nickel 26" barrel- I'll have to go look....

But I agree I would rather have a stainless...

Ever heard of having a backup gun, maybe even a backup for your backup, etc. etc. etc. Of course you need another one.
