Similar to Mudder: a CVA Staghorn, and a CVA Buckhorn. I'm using the Buckhorn this year - Staghorn is the Guest Gun - and the Buckhorn has a 1.75x4 Bushnell Trophy.
For load, I use 95gr Pyrodex RS with T/C's XTP MagExpress (hornady 240gr XTP bullet). It does the trick, if I get it there...

Lyman Great Plains flint .50
The Hawken is one I picked up13-14 years agoat a local shop for cheap. Guy who had it before did something to swell the barrel just before the muzzle.A gunsmithI knowcropped off the damage and recrowned it, etc so I now have a 20" carbine. Justlike the ones they have started selling in the catalogs the past couple of years, just I've had one for a lot longer.
