.69 conicals and RBs
Where can I find these? I have found .69 RBs at Cabela's but that is it. I want to try patched RBs, conicals and some type of slug in my shotgun. Deer season is getting close and I still want to test on hogs. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Buddy...You hit anything in North America with a properly charged .69 caliber round ball and its going down...No need for a conical of that caliber...And frankly it would weigh so much, the recoil would be intense...

Good point. I honestly hadn't thought of that. That thing kick when I shoot #6 shot. I guess I'll try the RBs first and see how it does. Thanks.

I have seen Minie bullets for sale somewhere at one of the ML online sites, but can't recall exactly where. However, you could get a mould and cast your own. I believe Rapine and/or NEI would make you a mould. Since these bullets have a big hollow base, they really don't weight too much-probably no more than that shot charge you've been using!
Well, blow me down! Lyman is still making a .69 mould!
"New 69 Musket Single Cavity
68569 Hollow Base Weight (lead) 730 gr.Handles# 2735793
A heavy weight Minie designed for 69 caliber muskets" Looks like it weighs 1.66 OZ (730 grains).
