I agree!!! The nice thing about a pass thru though is that you have two spots for blood to exit.

If many elk and deer have been killed with the 50cal roundball over the past couple 100 years then a 54cal ball-et can also kill deer and elk only better. I might just stay with the big heavy conicals for now. If I can get good accuracy out of that 435gr Buffalo Bullet that will take down anything in North America. I can use it for elk, moose, caribou, bison, whatever.
