Default T/C Omega X7?

I'm looking at a T/C Omega X7 muzzleloader Stainless Laminate. This will be my first ML. Does anyone have one yet or has seen one. If so please tell me about it.

Cabela's has it for $549.99 - $50 then I have a $20 off coupon and it comes with a knife.

Thanks,
Darrell[/align]

I've seen pictures of them and they sure are a beautiful looking rifle. Of course understand, they are still an Omega so they should be excellent shooters as well as beautiful to handle and own... Have you looked at the new Pro Hunter at all. I've been hearing a lot of good things about them as well...

They have the same deal on the regular and thumbhole omega. If I were you I would get one of the longer barreled versions. The new one just has a 24" barrel. These knives are nice. I got one with my Revolution. It was the half serrated with gut hook. I looked back in an old cabelas book and they did sell for 49.99. Good Luck on what you choose!!!!

Omega regular: The stainless laminate is just 479.99 regular price. This would be my choice and its cheaper.

I think the X7 is the best looking Omega made. I am not much of a fan of laminated wood but the colors work well on that stock.

I would just love to see an accurate picture of a production X7 Omega. The pic that gets used everywhere can't be right unless the rifle was designed for pro basketball players.

The pic of the X7 indicates the length of pull is roughly 17ΒΌ" if the barrel is 24" long. If the LOP is a more realistic 14", that barrel is actually ~20" as pictured.
