Anyone Make a Good 209 Capper?
Still looking for a decent 209 capper for my big hands. Its a bit of a pain trying to insert a 209 primer on my inline 50 by handin the field and was wondering if anyone made a 209 capper that actually worked well.
It would be nice if someone made 209 primersthat weren't so darn corrosive, too (just started using 777 and I like it a lot).
Thanks-

TC makes a real nice one that works like an injecton needel. You load them in and push one out at a time its great especially for scoped inlines. And its under $10.00

I have both one for the System one and Thunderhawk the other [the new TC injection type] for the Omega both are excellant for the type gun they are designed for. They are not interchangeable, you need the right type for your gun. Lee

Yeah.. I forgot to mention that... I do use the Omega w/ the falling block... and the injection type works excellent for these... but if you have an enclosed breech like a bolt action style.. then it prolly wouldn't work very well.

I have a TC Black Diamond XR and it has a semi-closed breech which is why it isn't the fqstest loader on the market. The Ted Cash one looks like a winner though.
Anyone use a 209 primer that doesn't foul the breech badly?

This is my favorite. It is a Thompson Center Dog Bone Capper. It holds ten primers and holds on to them real easy. All you do is reach in, slip the primer in place and pull back on the dog bone a little and the primer slips right out.
