Sharp Shooter:

The tube of bore butter goes on the bottom and you slide the bullet through the top part as you squeeze the tube..works good..

ORIGINAL: Sharp Shooter
Are they made for certain calibers? I wonder if they would work to lube REAL conicals?

And a good alternative is to take something like a tuna can, meltlube in it deep enough tocoverthe bullets when they are stood in it on their ends, let it cool and stiffen up, then gently rotate each bullet a little to break them loose and lift themup out of the lube

Or, you can "Pan Lube" them. There is a whole proceedure for doing cast bullets for cartridge guns but for our purposes you might try this:
Line a small pan/ or a can with wax paper, stand your bullets up on top of the wax paper and pour your melted lube over them to a level just over the last grease groove on the bullet. Stick the pan in the freezer untill the lube is real stiff, about as hard as a candle should do it. Remove the block of lube/bullets from the pan(wax paper makes it easy)and you should be able to bush the bullets out of the lube-push on the tip. My lube has some bees wax in it and it gets real stiff but this should work with bore butter if you get it hard enough by freezing it. My cartridge bullets come out with full grease grooves and work fine..
