Charles Sumpter of the PA Black Powder Federation has been hard at work putting together a primitive encampment that is sure to give you a better understanding of our great heritage and the American pioneer’s way of life. He has a complete blacksmith’s shop that will be in operation, a gun maker’s display and many other fine, early-American craftsmen coming to share their knowledge. Charles would also like to invite the public to bring their primitive flintlock and percussion rifles to compete in some of his match shoots. He will also have youth target shooting with instructors. And of course, don’t forget tomahawk throwing for youth and adults.

I'm guessing the Dixons will be there???
You might want to mention that there is a Cabelas right down the road, if people make the trip that might make it a dual purpose type of thing for some.

As of yet Dixons are not comming ,but you never know . It would be nice to see them there. They are some fine people!! And yes Cabelas is only about 15 or 20 minutes away from event.

What is a "match shoot?" I am not the most experience with muzzleloaders, but am always game for some friendly competition. Let me know, as I may have to get old rusty out and start shooting.
