Default Encore Hammer Spur

Ok - no snikering - dufus here purchased a RMC hammer spur $12.99 - fits just fine cocks the hammer just fine - but when it is installed on an Omega there is no opening the breech - stupid!

Anyone with an Encore that wants one I sell it for $8.00 plus mailing - come on all you Encore people.... you gotta have one of these neat gadgets....

Hmmmm. This goes back to my last post to you about the Omega. I can't see dressing them up to much they will never be an Encore.

That said even though I have a fairly big scope on my Encore I do not need a spur. I can still reach the hammer fine and look through the scope fine as well. No problems with the comb either. ( I would guess you knew that)

Jeesh, that sounded condecending and it didn't mean to sound that way. I am sure some set ups for the Encore will need that and I hope you pass it on. If not I bet that would fit the Scout hammer as well.

LOL on trying to use it on the Omega. OOps

Thanks for the heads-up, Mike. I was thinking about putting one of these on my Omega as well - just never got around to ordering it. You saved me from becoming Dufus #2.

Did you ever find a place to get on for an Omega? My scope is mounted low and, with gloves on, it is a little tight. I can live with it but an offset would be nice. I checked the TC site and didn't see one there.

Mayguy, your Omega will not work with a hammer extension. Raise your scope.

Good reason to get an Encore instead.
