Default Dry firing an Omega?

Is it ok to dry fire an Omega? Always helps me flinch less if I dry fire a couple of shots before starting a shooting session.

thanks

Put in a used primer and fire into that. Then there is little to no chance of causing damage to any part of the rifle by over extending.
