CVA Firebolt inline miss fire
Has anyone had a miss fire like what I will describe????
I loaded my Firebolt, with 90 grains of Triple 7 and loaded a PB 295 grain Aerotip. I left it loaded a few weeks and took it out several times hunting during regular rifle. Didn't see anything worth shooting. I took it out recently and I took off the safety.I was going to shoot it tounload the bullet.I temporarily placed the gun against a tree. I remembered I had the safety off and reached over to put it back on. As soon as I moved the safety to green, the gun went off.
Thankfuly I wasn't hurt, but my ears stung for a while.

Call CVA as soon as you can they will take care of the problem - Further I would suggest you not load it until you havve the problem solved to your satifaction. I have never had that happen with my Firebolt nor do I want it to. I am assuming you have tried to adjust your trigger release. CVA will probably jump all over themselves to get this squared away.
Good luck - My son-in-law has my "fire bolt" so I can not even look at it to give you some suggestions... CVA is your best resource.

I have used the fireblot ultra mag for a few years now. I love that gun and would not sell or trade it for anything. Never had a problem with mine. I am even planning on buying 2 more for my boys for next year.
Hopefully it was just a freak accident, but still call them and ask if they have had any other calls on this problem. Post back and let us know.
