If you are shooting sabots or powerbelts - you really should not need one.
But when I thought I needed one I actually had two one for the range and a very simple one forhunting. The range starter was the typical round wooden ball type with several different attachments. The one for the filed was a simple "T" handle that could be used as a starter and/or ram rod handle.

Since the Elite will be shooting sabots get the T handle short starter and the necessary jags to seat projectiles with. On the short ends of the T there are also placed which will help you seat the different kind of projectile heads you encounter.
The roundball head starter is handy without a doubt for roundball and conical, but the T handle is my favorite when shooting sabots and powerbelts.
