On those new GM barrels you purchased, which type of flash channel does the breech have? Does the flash channel come in at the rear of the barrel or 90 degrees to the bore on the top?
Do they have cleanout screws? If they do and you remove them then insert a pipe cleaner, the pipe cleaner will go all the way into the barrel and start up the bore?

I believe they are a straight line flash channel. If you take out the bolster clean out screw you can push a pipe cleaner straight through the bolster into the breech. If you go down through the nipple hole, you angle a pipe cleaner at a 45ยบ angle and it drops right down into the breech.. It is not one of those curved snail kind I believe that comes out in the back end of the breech.
