My Omega likes the 240 grain xtp(.451) in front of 100 grains of 777. It also shoots the 250 grain shockwaves and the 260 grain Dead Centers extremely well.

I shot 200gr Shock Waves in my new Omega today and got a 3/4 inch group with 3 x 50gr sticks of APP. Lee

If your gun shoots the 250 grain, you really don't need to look any further. These work well on every thing from marmots to moose. I have also used the 300 grain on elk with good results. The Barnes 250 grain Expander MZ has posted more one shot "dead in their tracks" kills than any other bullet I have had personal experience with - they are just hard to load in T/C guns - have been meaning to try a different sabot - just hope the accuracy doesn't go south in the process.
