How high you go is not the thing,it's what's behind you.Try to climb with a smaller tree behind you. Then climbas high as it's branches.

HiPower has it right on the nose. Do the string thing, works great. I have taken My second buck of the Year last Saturday morning at 6:30 AM. First was a 9 pt with a 13 inch spread, black powder Omega 50 cal. The second was a 10 pt with a 17 inch inside spread. Took the second one with a 308 BLR. 20 to 25 ft is ideal. Wash all clothing in scent free soap.Take a bath with scent free soap. Use scent free deoderant. Fresh jurkey and sausage will be Yours. And I know using a 308 is cheating, but I did hand load the ammo Myself.
