I used T/C high temp tape around my breech today for the first time. Won't be using again in my knight disc. It works but hard to get in with the tape and hard to get back out and then you got all that tape in your threads. Went back to breech grease.
When using these power stem breech plugs in a disc and shooting 120-140gr loose 777 loads, it has a tendency to lock up sometimes. Don't happen with other breech plugs and 90-100gr loads. So still have to break loose and regrease about ever 6 shots.
Again I have to brag on the performance of this power stem. No crud ring whatsoever and over 2050fps performance with 125gr of 777 loose.

I was trying out the breech tape with a little anti seize on my Knight Wolverine breech plug. I shot today and although it was not seized, it is sure hard to take in and out with that tape on it. When I put it all back together today after shooting I just used the grease too.
