Which muzzleloader would you purchase?
I'm new to blackpowder hunting and I was wondering which muzzleloader to buy...A used Navy Arms 50 cali. with nickle barrel and synt. stock for $75 dollars or anew New England Firearms nickle barrel 50. cali. synt stock for about $200.
He also has a new Rossi 50 cali nickel barrel and sytheic stock for $200 (I just don't know alot about this brand).
Any suggestions would be appreciated?

The used Navy Arms is definate NO! For what they are asking for the others, there are better rifles out there for less money. Cabela's sells a NEF Sidekick brand new in the box of $159.00 which would be a great rifle.
Check the Auction sites and look for New in the Box rifles. Sometimes you can get them real reasonable.
Perhaps give us a dollar figure of what your willing to spend and what kind of rifle you're looking for and the forum could help you find something...

I'm looking for something that will last me for a few season, preferably stainless for around $250 for the gun. Here is what I'm thinking, I want something that I can use for a season that last 9 days a year.

Stainless for $250... http://www.dallastacticalsupplies.com/itemdetails.asp?itemid=NESPS050 that NEF Sidekick is the perfect rifle for you. Well made, stainless, accurate, and dependable... For $176.99 you could not pick a better rifle for your 9 day hunt every year. You might enjoy it so much you will hunt all the time with it like a lot of us do...
