The 200's arn't too small for deer are they?

RiverBottomBowHunter.. that is a good question. I first want to say, I have no personal experience to base this opinion on, and it is only MY OPINION. I would personally think that the 200 grain Shockwave would work just fine. After all they are shooting deer with much less weighted projectiles, especially when you get into the .45 caliber rifles. Also with the design of the Shockwave and the fact that they can be pushed hard and fast, they should get excellent expansion. I would think if they were to hit bone there would be some excellent expansion with them.

Also after seeing what a small 50 grain in weight more 250 grain Shockwave can do to a moose shoulder blade, I would think the 200 grain and a whitetail deer should be a done deal. I bought some more of them on my last visit to Wal Mart and am working up a load for them. I fully intend to use them this deer season.
