What have you tried to remove the stains with? Stainless Steel is usually easy to keep clean. Are you sure this is not a burn? I'd contact the company that makes the rifle and ask them what is safe to take the stains off the stainless steel...
There was a similar question a while back but their rifle has the nickel finish. I have a nickel finish one with similar marks. I forget now what they said to use to take it off. I was going to remember but [&o] old age hits us all sooner or later.
