RE: Lets see your pictures
ORIGINAL: BareBack Jack
I was wondering if you did not mean the .358,how has that traeted ya for elk?
I have longed for a BLR .338,I'm afraid I will settle for the new .325 WSM in the BLR and try to be happy.

If you do get that 325 WSM be sure to fill me in on how it performs.

I will do that, they are not due out till late summer I have been told.I've been tossing the idea of a micro-hunter in the .325 or the BLR.
I will go home tonite and see if I cannot scan some pics on a disk and post them on a buddies computer.

RE: Lets see your pictures
BareBack, like I told Shato, the last elk I killed was with a .270Win in
Rifle Colorado, 1995. I have it mounted and will post picture when I
get them scanned to my computer. I had them put on CD by Wal-Mart
a week ago and I can't get HuntingNet.net to upload them, don't no why.
As for the .358 or the .338 they have never taken any elk. I have pictures
of the bull moose I killed in Alberta in 1996 with a Ruger 6.5mmSwede-
Norma 156gr"Alaska" ammo. Did not mount it, just have the horns.
The last trip planned was to New Foundland in Oct. of 1998, but my
brother-inlaw and my hunting partner died in May of 1998 and my father
in Nov of same year. My next trip will be to Argentina before my last
sunrise!

RE: Lets see your pictures
Rebel,
heres a few pointers on posting pics to the net:
1. The pics must be web supported. Meaning they have to be on someone's server before they can be shown. Just because they are on your hard drive isn't good enough.
2. heres a way to slide around #1:
a. Post them as an attachment.
b. then open the attachment.
c. right click on the pic. a menu will come up. one of the options is "Properties"
d. Click on properties. One of the properties is "Address" (http://www.yourpicture.bs)
e. highlight the address and copy (Ctrl C)
f. then go to your original post and "edit" it.
g. Now click the "Image" button.
h. you will see something like: (img)(img/)
i. click in between the two img codes and press paste (Ctrl V)
NOw make sure that you don't have any spaces or an extra http:
If all that is done it should come up when someone looks at your post.

Judyboi those are some awesome pics, I especially like the salmon photo. I enjoy seeing pictures of other peoples hunts and fishing trips. Here's a link to some of my hunting pics. Hope fully I'll have some new ones to show in a couple of weeks, as I'm goin black bear hunting. http://client.webshots.com/photo/225...25867925dDRQdQ
