WYOMING MULE DEER HUNT
I have applied for a bull elk tag for zone/area/unit 49 for private property and if I'm not drawn was thinking about applying for a mule deer tag if it's available for that area. The closest town to the area I'm looking at is Tensleep. Does anyone know if there is a huntable population of mule deer in that area, or even if their is a season? Thanks.

I hunted outside of there sevral years ago and the deer hunting was awsome . We hunted some BLM ground I would have to look at the map to tell you where but it was about 30 or 40 miles south of Ten sleep it was between there and Liset I think thats how you spell it. You will have a good time and be picky you will have plenty of chances to shoot a deer so pick a good one .
