Just got through watching the outdoor life channel on cable.
some guy killed a 724lb. boar. Hog was shot at Bienvill Plantation
in Fl. I would have to agree that this "BIG PIG" was without a
doubt very big game.

He was probaly fed crack corn and sugar cane for 2 or 3 years.

When the open range was done away with in Florida in th 50's the feral hog became property of the state in the same way as the deer, bear, panther, gator and other wildlife are property. I know where of I speak as I had a claim and mark registered in Bronson, (the county seat of Levy county) at the time. Hog and cattle owners were given a set time to remove their stock. Any that were left became state property. If I should be wrong, don't worry, I just gave everyone permission to hunt my hogs.

Rebel Hog; Anyone who doubts that hogs are big game should have to wade into chest high palmetto's to stop that shoat from killing his dogs!! Climbing a tree to make a lion jump so the pups can get more training is a peice of cake! You can beat on the tree trunk with a stick and make a bear climb down for a fight with the dogs and no be in much danger. Walk in on a hog like that one and he will carry you out on his nose and he will be cutting you every time his foot hits the ground!
