There is a MAJOR correction to JJT's bear weight. Apparently the guide had a problem with the scale he used (hydraulic that goes up to 2000 lbs) is that is needs to go over 1000 lbs to correctly register the weight per the manual. (Who needs steeenking manuals!?!?)
The bear is NOT 275 lbs, but in fact conservatively estimated at between 470 to 480 lbs per estimates provided by what the guide thought, NB DNR & another expert.
