Just checked the FWP site for Montana http://fwp.state.mt.us/news/article_3246.aspx and they are giving 10 Buffalo tags by drawing. You can apply online if you are a resident or nonresident. You must have had a 2004 license . If drawn the tag is $75 or $750 nonresidents. You have till 01/03/05 to apply

I see that,I can't read the fine print on the bottom of the reg's.
I see they are not allowing any sticks and strings or smokepoles, nothing under a 150 gr bullet in a centerfire rifle.
Somebody help me out with what the heck it says on the map.I will have to run to Lewistown and get some regs and apply then.
Pretty darn exciting I see the Griz and the wolf permits now.![Big Grin](https://www.huntingnet.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I couldn't read the map myself. The way I figure it though if I do get lucky enough to get a tag, with all the pissed off ranchers in the area getting a place to hunt won't be a problem. I bet they might even help.
