Has anyone scouted the area recently? I've been tied up with work for the last month and haven't had time to go.

How are the elk and mulies doing?

Dont know about 22 but i just got back from hunting CO unit 281. Its called the little flat tops. I had a fun hunt and took a shot at a cow with my bow. Saw lots of Elk but the wind was terrible. It never blew consistently, on any day and the weather has turned colder since I left.

Best wishes to you. Im in the austin area also.

1 Chance,
the mountains got pounded with snow last night all the way down to 7000 feet. Expecting more snow today. Everybody around here is talking about a early winter this year.
Good luck.
