Thanks guys,A budy of mine just sold me an Eagle explorer GPS a few years old with all the software case instructions ect for 40$.Figure it would make good starter GPS until I can aford top of the line.

Congradulations...Great price, and great unit to learn the basics on. By the time you've outgrown its potential, you wont even remember the $40.00 , and it'll be easy to cough up the money for a new unit!

Or worse still, you're tromping through head high grass, and feel something sticky on your boots. Looking down you see that you've just stepped in a very LARGE pile of bear poop...and it's still steaming! Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up, just thinking of it.
