Accubond for Elk

RE: Accubond for Elk
Ah yes, that's a nice area. We usually hunt in 328, 329, and 251 units for Elk. Most of the time we hunt way low, by the river. Not too many people down there and we know a land owner in that area that we have special access to his land so it's easier to get an elk out if we get one.

Eck. Echo the other comments above - with accuracy like you got with the Fail safe, no reason on earth to change unless you just want to experiment.
The Oct. 2002 issue of Shooting Times Magazine had an excellent article on the various premium bullets on the market then. A number of comparison tests were run, penetration, wound channel diameter, retained weight of bullet when fired at different velocities, etc. Overall an excellent read. This is a one stop shopping source of info on premium bullets.
Regards.
