RE: Albino Moose!
Here's the pics again. They were taken near Chapleau Ontario. I moose hunt near Chapleau at a place named Foleyet, Ontario. There are also white moose in this area. I have personally never seen one but reports of sightings are not uncommon. It is unwritten rule in the area that these moose are not shot. If you're interested in a pictoral account of a moose hunt in the area have a look at www.moose.funtigo.com gg.

They are some neat pictures. It looks like the cow had a regular calf? I often wondered about moose and elk being albino. I havent seen and elk yet but now I know that it can happen in moose. Very cool. Here in PA people say you have 7 years bad luck if you shoot an albino deer. I guess it would be like a lifetime of bad luck to shoot an albino moose.

Down this way we occasionally get a white pigmented (Not Albino) Red deer. Figure that one out????
Has anyone come across a white Elk?
NB: In the evolutionary process Elk are descendents of the Red Deer.
