Well no trophy antlers in this photo, but they are tucked away in my pack. IF they were huge I wouldn't have been able to fit them in there!!
But the background tells the story of the muley hunt with my brother and brother-in-law last fall.
We humped those hills for 5 days and felt it and the end of every day, that brother of mine is a hiking fool. But we loved every minute of it, and I finally took this small buck at the end of the hunt on the last day. The entire week of exertion came crashing down on me when I finally dropped him.
The memories will last a life-time....already planning the hunt for this fall, can't wait to do it again!
