ML for Elk
I’ve gone on two self-guided Bivy style Bow hunts OTC in CO. Both times were unsuccessful but I was in Elk both times. This hunt was in rough country in SW CO.
My hunting partners and I are discussing a muzzleloader hunt out west self guided that we do with good Elk numbers and a decent shot on Elk.
Is there anywhere OTC with good Elk numbers?

They ask you on the application when you apply for a ML tag what you would like instead if you are unsuccessful. You can always have them send you the normal archery tag or a rifle tag for the second, third, or fourth rifle season. But, like EKM said it is 100% daw for ML.
