Yeah a .416 Rigby 325 grain Barnes X at 2900 FPS would get anythings attention.
CZ makes a nice one (but you know that already).
The Ruger MKII Magnum is " top drawer" found a few on gunbroker around $1,100.00 though which is getting pricey for a " fun" gun.

May not be that big a deal, but I read in an article somewhere to use at least 225 gr in a 338 win mag for elk sized game. Had to do with balistic coefficent for that bore size as I recall. I shoot 225 grain nosler partitions, but any of the premium bullets should do nicely.

Don' t need a battery, a arsenal, or even a selection. Jacks of all trades seldom master any. I know it ain' t american not to preach owinin' things. But in the end, it ain' t what makes you a good hunter. I' ll git by with my same ol' rifle til I take thet long dirt nap. Couldn' t be happier with safe full of fancy rifles.
