Winter's Meat
Just got back to town.
A really good CO mulie doe. I'm guessing she weighed about 170-180 on the hoof.
A nice CO whitetail doe. Probably about 140 on the hoof.
So far the trip to my native CO has been great. Hunted 2 days on 2 different ranches, fired 2 shots, killed 2 deer of 2 different species. Me and Mama will eat well this winter. Now I probably have time to do some rabbit and upland bird shooting.
Cheers Y'all.

Nice going flags and yes there is some great eats. I have only killed 1 muley and thought it was every bit as good eating as a whitetail which we get here. I am holding a doe tag and so far after 2 days it is starting to eat a hole in my pocket. Perhaps tomorrow....
