Nice video Windwalker. Less then a month ago they released some Elk in Jackson county Wisconsin, some died pre release in the holding pen due to ticks, since the August 24th release, one was killed by wolves and another hit by a car. I sure hope they make it like they appear to be making it in Pennsylvania.

It took decades for the elk to start to grow the herd in PA. Don't expect a herd big enough to hunt for a long time.

The cow elk that the wolves got might of had brain worm also. Is it pretty hard to draw a tag for you guys in Pennsylvania?

I'm also from PA, about an hour from elk country. Odds of drawing a tag are stupid-bad, like 1:10,000. I've also heard the hunt can be a hassle - too many game wardens following the small number of hunters. I love taking my family up to see them every fall though, and listening to them bugle back and forth around the elk viewing area is amazing. Lots of great bulls too.

The odds are pretty much non existent... However, it cost's $10 to apply so I apply every year. I figure if I live to be real old, I might have a chance to draw eventually! Great video though.
