that was just 3" short of qualifying for Pope & Young. We used a decoy that caught his attention at 250 yards. By the time we got ready to shoot him he was within 20 yards. What a rush!

Real nice speed goat there! congrats[8D]
With a arrow & decoy( was it another lope?A girlfiend to add to the harem or another male moving in on his territory?)) sounds like a good hunt[:-](they sure are curious things to sometimes ) one randy male was charging my way once while i was knelling in the sagebrush while hunting deer( got real close). He sure changed drection fast[] when i stood up!lol

Jack,
You' re pretty good. He went 14"
Fish,
The decoy was a smaller buck. I had been watching him run a smaller buck off for about a week. The little guy was persistant, so we thought we' d try to make the big guy we were him. I guess it worked, this time.
Here is the buck we tried to decoy in after we got the first one. I think he is a little bigger. What does everyone else think?

He' s narrow wich makes him look taller, his ears come to his forks wich should be about 8" and not much curl so I would guess him at about 14 1/2,thats my geuss.
