Finally got him!
Hi guys,
Not too new, I was SakoBavarian on this forum but that email was cancelled and now I only use this one so thought I'd sign up with my new name.
After years of hard hunting I've finally got on to a cracking red stag here in Aus. I'm not really a score man but he has been scored in our Douglas system we use here in Aus and has come out at 342 5/8 which if I certified him (which I'm not going to - it has gutted my taxidermist) he would be in the top 15 or 20 of all time in Aus. Not a bad effort considering he's broken off a bez tine two inches off the main beam!
Feel very blessed to have taken this animal, definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. He was taken with my 300 Win Mag using handloaded Barnes 180gn TTSX projectiles through a Leupold VX-R
4-12x50mm.
I want to put up a pic but don't know how, if anyone could help me out it'd be great!
Cheers,
JP

Congrats! Would love to see a picture! Down in the post box theres a link up above the text box, next to the button that looks like a globe, kind of looks like a picture, just click that and find the picture file on your computer and select it. Hope that helps!
