My family and I may possibly be relocating to Bend Oregon, how is the big game hunting in the area (within 1.5 hr drive). I mainly hunt deer and elk. Are cow or doe tags available, public access a problem, etc, etc.

Hey, ive been there once but im from Oregon. I hear Bend is nice, and its nice for hunting. There is bear, cougar, deer, elk, and turkey population. Probably other animals, I looked on a map and I believe Roseburg Oregon had a huge density of Turkeys, I think Roseburg is an hour away from you?
Bend is great though, I want to move to there or Roseburg if I ever go back to Oregon.
Land out west(from what ive heard) especially Oregon is not as crowded as the east and alot more people do spot and stalk. Which in my head is the ideal hunting method. I dont know about OTC tags, I know that you can get this super pack where you get like 4 animals + cougar for not too bad of prices. There is lots of public land and its not crowded (from what ive heard).
