I've been looking at getting one too. After reading several reviews, it seems like the real deal. My GF looked on-line and found that several places are backordered.
Sometime ago I found reviews from David Petzal, and Chuck Hawks website. They both gave it a thumbs up. You still have to adjust for windage, but the distance & drop are taken care of.

I put one on top of my 30-06 (Savage Weather Warrior) this past weekend. There was a moment of dread when I cracked the first screw to take off the Trijicon scope. Once boresighted, the Eliminator removed that dread. After a few adjustments, she was zeroed at 100yds with some Win. CXP2, 180gr.
Then, I shot some steel plates at 285, 310, 330....BING, BING, BING!
Like the commercial says...just range'em and Eliminate'em.
My .270 is really liking the "new" Trij riding on her back.

I seen one go down after a day of wet snow and hunting through the trees. It wouldn't turn back on. The next day after the hunter got the scope and "wires" dried out it came right back on. The wiring was the issue I believe. I would not take something like this on my once in a lifetime hunt.
