Wyoming Elk Hunting 2013 Advice
My Dad, myself and possibly a couple other buddies have been kicking around the idea oh hunting Bull Elk in Wyoming. We have for the past several years hunted Mulies in Region M south of Ten Sleep and have had great success. We typically hunted in the Orchard Ranch area west of lighting ridge. Last year we found a bunch of Elk sheds and even saw a really nice 6 x 6 bull in the area. My question is is this area, known as Region M for Mulies and Unit 48 for Elk a good area to hunt Bull Elk?
We all have 1 or 2 preference points, and understand how the drawings work, so we are prepared for that, I am just unsure if we should try here or maybe in a unit like 45, 35, 36, 37; which are located pretty much in the Big Horns. Any advice would be helpful thanks!
