Planning unit 711 elk trip
Me and two others have struck out the past three years at over-the-counter archery elk. This year we are going third season rifle. Maybe our odds will be better. We are looking at unit 711. This will be unfamiliar grounds since we have not been to this unit.
Any ideas or suggestions on this unit would be appreciated.

Have never been there or hunted elk before but I plan to do the second rifle season in unit 78. I have looked online at your unit which isnt far away and might end up in that area some to. I'll let you know what I find out about the area and any elk info I discover while there.
