A friend of mine has drawn a Mulie tag for Montana and is looking for a good outfitter in the Western part of the state. He hunted on private land there last year, but with the limited time (a week or so) he thinks he would like to try an outfitter. I told him I would help him look for a good one.

So, I would like to know if any of you guys have anyone you would recommend. I like to get hunters first hand impressions and feeling about outfitters.

Try Steve Hawkins @ 406-297-3279. He's a great outfitter in the northwest corner of the the state. Very nice guy, and one hell of an outfitter. You won't ever regret talking to him, but hurry, cause he books out fast!!
