Elk in alaska?
#4
There are hardly any elk in Alaska and their distribution is limited to a few small islands in southeast Alaska and Afognak and Raspberry Islands in the Kodiak archipelago. They're Roosevelt elk and they're huge bodied, but have pretty small antlers. The terrain they live in is pretty much the most god-awful alder jungles you can imagine and it costs an arm and a leg to get to the islands they're on. I personally have absolutely zero desire to hunt elk up here.
