Montana Bighorn Sheep hunting!!!!
Montana has a unlimited Bighorn sheep hunt. Why dont people do this more? Father did it a few years back and they had luck. Montana is one of the only, if not the only state to have a unlimited sheep hunt in the lower 48. It states Sept. 15 with a rifle and they seem to get them.Tags are not cheap but if you kill one it is a once in a life time trophy.

I haven' t hunted this area myself but I do know people that have taken part in this hunt.From what they tell me ,the unlimited tags are in areas that can require a lot of effort to be successful and many people want an easier hunt.I have also been told that this hunt is not truly unlimited in that once a certain number of rams are killed the season is closed.
