I have eaten many moose and elk and much prefer elk.I would however rank bighorn at least as good as elk.

Otis-bighorn tastes nothing like domestic sheep.I don' t like lamb or mutton myself but really enjoy bighorn. As far as elk and moose most people have eaten one or the other and pick it as their favorite.Of the people that I know that have eaten both almost all prefer elk especially a cow or yearling.

Otis-I had the tires replaced with 26x10 and 26x12 gators before I even picked it up.It pulls very strong but is actually very easy to handle because of the super smooth hydrostatic transmission and the great traction the tires deliver. It pulls hard but is very predictable.I hope to use it to haul a few elk and deer this fall.

There is no almost about it with the people I know who have tried both. Every single one of them has said the moose is tops. I do suppose a younger Elk would taste a bit better than say an old old rutting bull moose.
