African Safari
Tanzania (first choice)
Remote Bush Airstrip - absolutely no fenced anything (unlike highly settled RSA)
Wilderness Luxury Camp
Staff of 15 (1 whose only job is heating water)
Top notch meals and wine over white table cloths every night.
Regular beds with fresh sheets each day.
Laundry available each day.
Lions roaring some nights and awaken to Hippos carrying on down by the river
1x1 PH
Myself and a 416 Rigby - 1.5x5
Gunbearer (carrying the 458 Lott - iron sights)
21-30 days
Sorry, safari' s don' t work on a " one animal basis" if you want the " good stuff" you typically have to stay (or at least pay) a minimum number of days and if I' m there I' m going to get out there and hunt.
Lion - can hunt/bite back
Cape Buffalo - can hunt back
Hippo - can hunt/bite back
Croc - can hunt/bite back
Greater Kudu - bigger and tougher than elk
Eland - bigger and tougher than elk
Zebra - coolest hide out there
No elephant, just not interested
Pint sized Plains Game - just not interested
Hope to see; yet leave alone:
Black mamba
Green mamba
Puff Adder
Cobra
Found it, just gotta figure how to make it work $30-40K depending on trophy fees.
Zimbabwe if I have to trade off and go econoline.
Gotta make a pass through Alaska first though (Brownies) -- want to harden my steel a little bit.
You did say " dream hunt" right? No dreams -- No life.
And of course,
Never Go Undergunned

Mine ULTIMATE DREAM would be somewhere along the lines of EKM but without the big cats.
Cape buffalo
Gemsbok
Greater kudu
Eland
Zebra
Water buck
Sable
Impala
Zebra
A more attainable dream of mine is an Alaska cruse with the wife to make her happy, she flys back to Denver and I stay up there for about two weeks to hunt moose, caribou, dal sheep, and grizzly.

A boar hunt with a knife in a southern state, something over 200 lbs would be amazing. While searching for a guided boar hunt a guide pitched the idea and for a guy like me, I admit it' s tempting. Though they' re a neccesity, the dogs aren' t to appealing though, I feel for any pooch meeting the end of a tusk. There aren' t to many close combat, hunting experiences that I' ve ever heard of that match this. As far as ammo goes Brass balls don' t come cheap. But I think I' ve saved up enough! [>:]
