2. - They are the upper canines.

I found a picture of a cow elk with ivories on the net. They are the fartherest forward upper teeth.



Here's one after it was removed.

I shot a cow one time that actually had 3 ivories, one was about half the size of the others, and was tucked in against one of the regular ivories. I also got a cow once that had a cavity in one ivory. Must of been an old bitty!
