If it were me.. I would pick the 325. But seeing that your a wee bit younger than me I would suggest the 308.. Less recoil then any of those other and still gun enough for what your going to hunt.. Shoot you could even go with the 7mm08..

Also, what species would you be hunting most? Elk probably the toughest, pronghorn probably the easiest to bring down. If you are going to mostley hunt elk, look at the 300, if mostly deer, then the .06
Not adding to the frey, but why not throw a 300WSM into the mix?

I would strongly recommend the .30-06 for many of the reasons already listed.
- Has the ability to take down anything in North American (only light for Brown Bears)
- You can purchase factory ammo in 55gr, 125gr, 150gr, 165gr, 180gr, 220gr. No other caliber has this range in factory ammo
- Ammo is widely available
- Recoil is moderate yet tolerable
I have seven different rifle calibers (from .22 to 300WSM) and the .30-06 is my favorite. In fact, I could sell the other six rifles and still hunt all the same game

If recoils is not a problem I would go with the 300 Win Mag. That said, The 30-06 would work just about as well. Out to 300 yards anyway. I no longer like the big kickers. Bad shoulders from shooting to many big Magnums.
