Brunton Spotting Scope?????

RE: Brunton Spotting Scope?????
Which model are you looking at?
I'm a huge fan of Brunton gear, butthe compact Brunton spotting scope I used this hunting season wasn't all that impressive (although it could have something to do with the fact that it was given away at the Brunton garage sale raffle). It didn't take in light very well, and the image wasn't as clear as I would have liked at long distances. It just wasn't quite up to par for glassing antelope from a mile away.
I love my Eterna binoculars, though, so I'd imagine their higher dollar full-size Eterna spotting scopes might be pretty nice.

RE: Brunton Spotting Scope?????
Thanks for the info. I have bino's to and love them, but before I bite off and buy a spotter I was hoping some one had one! The compact is neat but it is cheaper for a reason! Funny thing, I post on a national forum, and to have my only reply from Greybull! 40 miles away! LOL!
Thanks again!
