Abe was born in Hodginville, jus' north of where my kin is from. Marriages weren' t formalized back then. The preacher did it an' very few were registered with the courthouse. Some didn' t even have the benefit of a preacher, as they could be scarce in some places. Grandma allays said thet the Lord said a man should TAKE a wife, not MARRY a wife.

I thought this was about hunting. i believe that there is other sites if you want to talk about your lineage. Not much sense wastin precious time reading about family trees.

Ya i agree theres a lot of good western states to hunt besides Wy. theres always Utah , Mt ,Co, Idaho, Ca etc etc

not that i mind some/ out of state, lowlanders etc. lol


Good to know where yer roots go , but im lucky i have lotsa new branchs at least.

That' s what I heard as well, Wyoming is the place, heard it staight from ole BJ. LOL. Idaho defenitley is not the place to be. elknut1.

Its to late now. sent in my app for mule deer and antelope. Hope to be hunting in wyoming this oct. Should be a great time. I think that there is alot of game in Wy.

You guys know that the hunting in MT and ID is 10 times better than WY.

This fall I hunted 5 straight days and all I saw was 2 jackalopes (1 spike and a doe) and this old skinny coyote was chasing them!!!!!!!
